Ok, so I got the porch painted and cleaned up. Now we have a few other little "things" we want to do to make it into a kid-friendly place to hang out.
1. Add more lighting so we can actually see the kids in the pool after dark.
2. Build a "Fountain ala Lulu" - shouldn't be too hard and recirculating pumps aren't too expensive
3. Build a Tiki bar structure to double as a puppet theater. Both kids LOVED the puppets at the library and at VBS .
4. Build a fire ring ( like the picture) . Looks like all we need is some blocks, a shovel and some elbow grease.
