New Recipe

No Sugar Added Peach Cobbler

1 stick butter ( or margarine - just don't use that promise stuff)
1 cup plain flour
1 tsp baking powder ( omit if you want to use self rising flour)
1 cup splenda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 16 oz bag of frozen peaches, thawed
1 cup of no sugar added apple juice

preheat oven to 350.
Melt butter in 2 quart casserole dish
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, splenda.
Stir in milk to make a thin, somewhat lumpy batter.
Pour into the casserole on top of the melted butter. Don't stir.
Drop the thawed peaches into the casserole on top of the batter. Spread 'em out - not all in one spot.
Drizzle with the apple juice. Use it all - don't worry.

Pop in the oven and bake for about 40 minutes or until the crusty top feels firm.

It tasted pretty good. I still think the color was a bit off.....again it was an orange food that had splenda and then turned a little grey-ish after it was baked.

This one is worth keeping. Actually, with fresh peaches it might be really excellent.
