......for this year at least. I ran out night before last and picked the rest of the ones that I thought would be big enough to fry and left the rest to freeze. There were quite a few, so hopefully we will actually cook these before they start to turn. These are Marion Heirlooms and they are a pinkish color when they are ripe, which means to me they always look "not quite done." They taste ok, but the full sized tomato is a bit on the smallish side, or at least the ones we grew were.
I do love a Fried Green Tomato with some Lulu's WOW sauce.
