I went out exploring a little and found the city park on the bay. There are lots of beautiful sculptures there as well as a marina and fishing piers and a beach. This is a beautiful town. There are fabulously large homes with old trees, then on the same street there are sweet cottages with gingerbread trim and huge hydrangeas. Also, a lot of the houses have little quirky, whimsical things in the yards Hopefully tomorrow I can get some pictures when the light is better. The downtown is really quaint with lots of little shops and interesting restaurants. I am thinking that we will have to come back here and stay one day the next time we are headed to Gulf Shores, or maybe stay here and go to Gulf Shores one day. Hmmmm.....
